Honey, a Sweet Tea Shakespeare series, imagines, enacts, and embraces the possibility of a theatre for women in the spirit of Shakespeare’s strong female roles: Beatrice, Rosalind, Viola, among others. Honey seeks to employ the ingenuity and drive behind Shakespeare’s own company as it both promotes and celebrates the talents of women — Including actors, writers, directors, designers, and others — of the community in classical, original, and newer work.
One woman will inspire a nation. Witness the rise and fall of one of history’s most notable women. Divine intervention and claims of heresy fuel the story of Joan of Arc.
